VR The Champions

Home | Blog | Virtual Reality Concerts

Brain May (of Queen) has just released his first Virtual Reality film. It is the first ever live concert filmed in virtual reality. Not only this, it quite possibly has the greatest name…VR The Champions! (I told you it was good).

"VR The Champions" is the title of QUEEN + Adam Lambert’s first live-concert film in virtual reality.

This unique VR film gives you (the viewer) a concert like experience. It offers everything from front row access to the ultimate on-stage experience together with the band, where you can even face out towards the audience and soak in the atmosphere. You are the transported onto an unforgettable journey, from soaring above the audience and flying alongside Brian May and the rest of the Queen, performing on Barcelona’s Palau St. Jordi.

The concert was captured using flying 3D-360, offering the complete live experience, this film is captured in 3D and delivered with ambi-sonic audio to make this concert even more “virtually” real than you could ever imagine.

We can’t wait to see how this evolves into other concerts and big budget movies.

If you would like to discuss a virtual reality project, we would love to hear from you.
