3D comes to the popular HTC smartphone range when they introduce the Evo handset to the UK market next month.

Featuring an updated interface and graphics the Evo smartphone has been designed to record and play 3D stills and movies that can be viewed without the need for 3D glasses.

The LG Optimus 3D handset also offers 3D viewing, but HTC claims that Evo offers “the ultimate glasses-free 3D experience” and advantages include a slightly higher screen resolution (960*540 v 800*480), a faster processer, as well as running on a newer version of Android (2.3 v 2.2).
