Get your 5 a day with the Innocent takeaway van

Home | Blog | Get your 5 a day with the Innocent takeaway van

Takeaways innocent? Not two words we would usually put together, but the latest experiential marketing campaign from Innocent looks set to change this…

The two week experiential campaign will see the health focused brand tour the country in a “Hungry Grassy Van” (HGV) in a bid to encourage people to eat five portions of fruit and vegetables per day.

The tempting takeaways include veggie burgers and salads and will cost £2 - £3 per dish. There will also be a daily £5 meal deal on offer which will allow consumers to eat and drink all of their five a day in one go. All offerings are based on recipes featured in Innocent’s “Hungry?” cook book which was released May.

The tour begins on the 9th September and will visit London, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow on its travels.

Earlier this year Innocent campaigned to get fruit and vegetables on the Government’s “Responsibility Deal” that promotes healthy living, saying it fell “far short” of encouraging the public to eat five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, which it said would save more than 15,000 lives each year.
